Clifford Sosis

I'm a graduate student studying philosophy at Florida State University (ABD).

My name is Clifford Sosis. I grew up in a delapidated trailer in Spring Glen, NY (the heart of the borscht belt). I went to Ellenville Central High School, where I made movies, painted and wrote poetry. This is when I became familiar with Nietzsche, Camus and Freud. In 2000, I barely graduated with a C-/71/2.1 GPA. After high school, I attended Ithaca College where I decided to major in philosophy. This is where I became acquainted with Marx, Sartre, Ayer, Wittgenstein, Quine and Keystone Light. I graduated in 2004 with a solid A-/93/3.7 GPA. Currently I attend Florida State University where I study philosophy of mind/psychology/science, epistemology and metaphilosophy. I'm currently working on a dissertation about happiness/welfare/well-being and hedonic/positive psychology. I created Hic Habitat Felicitas in order to organize and discuss exciting new research on the evolution, history, biology, psychology, sociology, economics, philosophy and future of happiness/welfare/well-being. I intend to enter the job market Fall, 2010, at the tender age of 28.
